our story

Hoste is an evolution of a vintage shop Lana Bear started in 2019. It brings together vintage sourced by hand, and slow made goods from makers across the globe. We are located in the Admiral Junction of West Seattle.

Hoste is said just like “host”. The Danish meaning of Høste is to reap, gather or harvest. We hope the store is a warm environment where everyone feels welcome and can be a community hub for meetups, classes, events and more, pull up a stool and stay awhile.

We strive to run a business founded on good ethics and in that pursuit aim to be transparent with our practices.
